The iMARS (image Manipulation Attack Resolving Solutions) project aims to improve and strengthen security at EU borders (airports and ports), as well as improving the operational and operational capacity of passport officers and border guards. This will be achieved through training to assess the validity of documents, passports and IDs, both at the application steps for passport registration and at passport control at airports/ports.
The Cyprus Police participates as an end user of the technologies that will be developed within the framework of the project. The Cyprus Police will contribute to the project by submitting opinions on the issue of the validity of documents at external borders.
The project receives funding from the EU’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Program (Agreement No. 883356)
