Internal Security Fund Projects 2021-27

Within the policy objective set out in paragraph 1, the Fund shall contribute to the achievement of the following specific objectives:

a) improving and facilitating the exchange of information between and within the competent authorities and the relevant institutions, services and organizations of the Union, as well as, where appropriate, with third countries and international organizations,

b) improving and strengthening cross-border cooperation, including joint operations between competent authorities in relation to terrorism and serious and organized crime with a cross-border dimension, and

(c) supporting the strengthening of Member States’ capacities to prevent and combat crime, terrorism and radicalisation, as well as to manage security-related incidents, risks and crises, including through increased cooperation between public authorities , the relevant institutions, services and organizations of the Union, civil society and private partners in different Member States.
